Gun store where Texas school shooter bought rifle previously sold ammunition to a weapons smuggler for drug cartel

Salvador Ramos, 18, bought the guns he used in last week's school shooting through online dealer Daniel Defense, and had them delivered to a gun store. The store, Oasis Outback, in Uvalde, was responsible for carrying out the background checks on the teenager and handing over the weapons he ordered. In 2009, businessman Fred Farhat, then 48, the owner of Farhat's Boots and Jeans, paid almost $6,000 cash for more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition.
