An inquest has been opened into the death of a man after he was swept away in flood water when a brook breached a road in Shropshire, Shropshire Coroner's office said.His body was formally identified by his wife on 30 October. The emergency services were called to the Mad Brook, Meaton Lane, after reports of a person in the water.The water was described to the coroner as a "fast-flowing brook".Follow BBC West Midlands on
