Irish weather forecast: Storm Dennis to bash Ireland with 100km/h winds and thundery rain
Storm Dennis is set to wreak havoc on Irish shores throughout Saturday with gusts as strong as 100km/h and thundery rain in parts of the country.
A Met Eirean forecaster said: "Storm Dennis brings very wet and windy weather today with some severe and damaging gusts. The forecaster said: "Further spells of heavy rain tonight with some thundery downpours likely and further flooding."Winds will ease for a time inland, but gales will continue in coastal counties. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees."Parts of the north will experience more hail and thundery showers, while wintry falls are possible on hills and mountains.
