Three people arrested by detectives investigating the attempted murder of two police officers in Strabane, County Tyrone have been released.

A 27-year-old woman also arrested in Strabane on Thursday has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

Neither officer was injured in the blast, which happened near Mount Carmel Heights.At the time of the attack, the officers were carrying out inquiries into anti-social behaviour in the area.One man has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of the police officers.
