Stranger Things adds warning card to Season 4 premiere that 'viewers may find opening scene of episode 1 distressing'
Netflix added the warning to episode one of season four. The warning mentions how some 'viewers may find the opening scene of episode 1 distressing' and that the streaming service is 'deeply saddened by this unspeakable violence' at the school. The opening scene depicts a bloody massacre that involves Millie Bobby Brown's character, Eleven.
Warning card will appear before before the season three recap that auto-plays at the beginning of episode one for viewers in the U.S. only. The gunman is accused of shooting and killing 19 young children, two teachers, and wounding 17 others at Rob Elementary in Uvalde, Texas. The first set of episodes for season four drop on Netflix May 27 and the final two episodes on July 1.
