Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp reveals that season 5 could have a major focus on Will Byers, as his character's story looks to come full circle. From the minds of the Duffer brothers, Stranger Things has seen its viewership increase with each new season, ever since it first debuted on Netflix in 2016.

During a recent interview with Forbes, Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, was asked if he could reveal any details about Stranger Things season 5, to which the actor offered an interesting tease for the upcoming season.
I can just tell you that I'm very very excited for what's to come. I think they did a great job with Will's character this season, and beautifully addressed everything they needed to. The way they closed the show is just perfect — the story started with Will, and it’ll end with Will.
With Stranger Things season 1 having focused on Will and then subsequent seasons having explored his lingering connection to the Upside Down, some have speculated that Will's role in Stranger Things season 5 will be vital to saving Hawkins. The end of season 4 saw Will seemingly sense the horrors that are to come and theories had begun to form that Will could be the focus of season 5, and the key to taking down Vecna and saving Max.
When Will Stranger Things Season 5 Release? Schnapp's comments certainly play into this theory, though aside from what these comments may imply, it's heartwarming to hear that the star is more than satisfied with how Will's arc will round out in Stranger Things season 5. In terms of just when audiences can expect Stranger Things season 5 to hit screens, a release window has still yet to be confirmed.
