Stranger Things' Sadie Sink addresses the recent rumors that suggested the young star had signed on to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sink stars in Netflix's beloved sci-fi series Stranger Things, having joined the cast in season 2 as Max Mayfield. This summer, Stranger Things season 4 saw Max face her toughest challenge yet as she and her friends sought to destroy the terrifying Vecna, following his murderous rampage through their hometown of Hawkins, Indiana.

Her most recent role in The Whale alongside Brendan Fraser has sparked some major award buzz for the young star, though rumors recently began to swirl of her recent addition to one of cinema's biggest franchises, the MCU.

As the MCU's phase 5 looks set to introduce a whole host of new faces, now could just be the perfect entry point for the star.
While Sink shut down these previous rumors with her most recent comments, many will likely be delighted to hear that the star has not ruled out joining the MCU in the future. Therefore, it may only be a matter of time before these rumors of Sink's casting do, in fact, become a reality.
