Street Fighter 6 competition is fierce as players are collecting double-digit losing streaks StreetFighter6 SF6 capcom
Street Fighter 6 continues its strong run atop best-selling charts, but it seems that casual players aren’t having as much fun with the game as many continue to collect double-digit losing streaks. Fighting games have always been notoriously unwelcoming to newcomers, and though the latest Capcom installment has taken some huge steps in improving its rookie onboarding process, the learning curve remains steep for a majority of its beginners.
A few of the commenters under the thread shared their own disheartening experiences as one user seemingly went through an 11-match losing streak recently. Another responder, on the other hand, apparently suffered a gruesome 220-game skid in Guilty Gear Strive, another equally difficult fighting game.
With all of these experiences in mind, losing streaks – especially in the fighting game genre – are often a common occurrence. This becomes even more ordinary for newbies as beat ’em ups have largely been inaccessible for those that want to start getting into it. With the arrival of Street Fighter 6, however, we may finally get to see more people get introduced to this exciting genre – just as long as they can persevere past all the discouraging losses.
