The opera singer was filmed making a vile sexual remark about his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars while kicking off the UK tour

Strictly Come Dancing bosses have reached a verdict regarding Wynne Evans' future after the opera singer made an “inappropriate and unacceptable” sexual remark during the live tour launch earlier this month.

However, questions remain over his future on the tour as well as with the BBC as Evans hosts a BBC Wales radio show Evans was recorded making an inappropriate sexual comment to Janette Manrara, who acts as host on the tour, when she walked over to the group. He sang out: "Go Compare," before adding: "Not too close to Jamie ." He then used the hugely demeaning term "spit roast" in reference to a lewd sexual act.

The insider mentioned that Evans is known for his humour but admitted that "on this occasion he just didn't think and overstepped the mark". He's currently receiving support for his mental health. Evans also sparked off-stage controversy with a crude joke, where he likened his double chin to female anatomy while getting his makeup done. Some viewers of Strictly weren't convinced by the apology or the explanation for the 'grope' incident, deeming his behaviour unacceptable.
