Those taking part in the BBC dancing contest this year are reportedly set to rake in £25,000 each for just taking part in the show.

Strictly Come Dancing kicks off in just a matter of days with its launch show this weekend. A star-studded list of 15 famous faces will be taking to the iconic BBC dancefloor in a bid to win the coveted Glitterball trophy.

And according to reports, every single person will be pocketing a healthy £25,000 for just taking part in the BBC competition, with an extra payout of £40,000 if they manage to make it past week four alongside their professional partners. Former Love Island star and documentary maker Zara McDermott has 1.7 million followers on Instagram and could earn £1,822 per sponsored post after Strictly, according to experts at Cashfloat.

Angela Scanlon, who has 293k followers, could bag up to £349 per sponsored post, whilst EastEnders star Bobby Brazier could potentially land £332 per post.
