Some felt it was unfair on other contestants
BBC Strictly fans have been left unimpressed with the announcement that one contestant would be given a pass straight through to the following week, with some describing it as ‘unfair’ on other contestants.
After missing this weekends episode of the BBC One Latin and ballroom competition, Kym and her pro dance partner Graziano Di Prima are due to return to the ballroom next week, all being well.As reported by Mancester Evening News, at the start of Saturday's live show hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman paused proceedings as they explained Kym's absence. After introducing the other couples they sent love to Kym watching at home.
Claudia added: "Kym we know you're watching. Everybody in here, we are sending you so much love." As the get well wishes came pouring in, other viewers took to Twitter to make the same point with just three weeks to go to the final. @CHEEEKYsausage tweeted: "I hope she's okay and recovers quickly but shouldn't they have to exit at this late stage? As now someone else may get kicked out earlier than they should."
