Strictly Come Dancing 's Toyah Willcox vows to "prove the doubters wrong" after a controversial dance-off last week.

But Toyah is coming back fighting as she says she will prove fans wrong this weekend during the show's Movie Week. She is set to take the the dancefloor with Neil Jones by her side as they dance a samba to the song Poor Unfortunate Souls from the Little Mermaid. She added: "I also like that some younger ­people might not know who I am, because they might not know how strong I am." Many fans of the competition were outraged to see make Toyah to the next round as she was the favourite to leave the show. Standing up for his celebrity co-star, he added: "I just want to say it’s week 2 @toyahofficial is not a dancer but every day she’s improving, each day I tell Toyah, it might not be perfect but you are improving and at the same time you are not losing who you really are and that is what @bbcstrictly is all about."
