Former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has opened up on her brief romance with Strictly's Giovanni Pernice, ahead of starring on the BBC dancing show later this month
Former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri spoken about her previous romance with ex-Strictly pro, Giovanni Pernice , ahead of her debut on the hit BBC dancing show later this year.
Italian dancer Giovanni will not be appearing on Strictly this year, following allegations about his behaviour towards his 2023 partner, Amanda Abbington. Giovanni strongly denies the allegations. “I’ve met up with him a few times,” Tasha admitted.“But that was years ago. We are not in touch now, this is like ancient history. I’m so happy with Andrew, and he’s my future, so I don’t want to talk about the past.Strictly has been embroiled in scandal about the behaviour of some of its professionals, after Amanda claims to have been 'bullied' by Giovanni after being partnered with him on the show. She abruptly quit Strictly in October last year after five weeks.
His fellow dancer Graziano Di Prima has also left the show. Ahead of the new series, the BBC said it would introduce new welfare measures including a chaperone who will be present “at all times” during rehearsals.
