6.5 magnitude earthquake strikes northeastern Taiwan, shaking buildings in Taipei, but no damage was reported.
It had a depth of 66.8 km , and could be felt across the northern and eastern parts of Taiwan, with the epicenter in Yilan county, the weather bureau added.
