A Blackburn student has been given the crushing news he had been denied lifesaving treatment - two days before graduating from university with a first.
Elliott's MP won a promise of a meeting with new health secretary Steve Barclay to discuss his case, but was informed that the individual treatment request had been rejected again. Elliott's dad, Hugh Simpson, told LancsLive: "We are just so disappointed. "I know that's what young people do, but he's not looking up Rovers tickets or buying concert tickets. He's chasing people to raise the money and it just shouldn't be this way."
