Jessica Garland-Blake, the Irish co-founder of London events agency Bash Studios shares her favourite finds and inspiration
The last thing I bought was beautiful glassware from Studio Arhoj in Copenhagen. I love bringing tableware home from trips.
I can’t say how much it was because my mother will read this, but my Loewe bag is one of my most treasured pieces. It’s from the collection inspired by the artist William De Morgan. I couldn’t afford it at the time, then a year later, I found it on Vestiaire Collective. I never take off one of my nanny’s rings. It has her birthstone, a ruby, and it’s super-unusual. She used to pick me up every Tuesday and bring me to Bewley’s for a coffee iced cream bun. For something modern, I love any jewellery designed by Jessica McCormack.
My favourite and most used thing in our house is our set of coral hand-painted plates from Les Ottomans. Beside my bed you’ll always find Dreem Distillery CBD drops, lavender oil and a journal for those midnight thoughts.
