Move will bring company’s staff to about 1,600

Suir Engineering is to hire another 200 staff, which will bring the number of people working there to 1,600.

It comes as the company, which provides electrical, mechanical and high-voltage engineering services, announced details of a centre it has opened to train apprentices which will support the country’s SOLAS training program.
