The summer isn't over yet - Met Éireann have predicted that the rainy and cloudy weather will give away to sunny spells and soaring temperatures soon - just as we are heading into autumn

Good news for people hoping to soak up the last of the summer sun - Met Éireann have predicted that hotter temperatures and sunny spells are on the way.

Tonight any remaining showers will start to dry off, with clear spells forming across the country. Lowest temperatures will be between nine to 13 degrees. Clouds will increase from the northwest in the evening, but it will remain a warm day, with highest temperatures of 19 to 22 degrees.Sunday will be another largely dry day with good sunny spells. Again, there will be some fog to start, particularly in the south, but this should clear throughout the morning, bar in coastal areas where it could remain.

Moving into Monday, we can expect some fog in the morning, continuing through the day near some coasts.
