Supercomputer calculates Premier League relegation places as survival fight goes to the wire
Aston Villa are predicted to suffer relegation straight back to the Championship - alongside Watford and Norwich.
Bournemouth didn’t manage to sign any players before losing at Sheffield United last week, but Aston Villa added to their ranks with the quartet of Pepe Reina, Danny Drinkwater, Borja Baston and Mbwana Samatta. But according to the supercomputer run by footballwebpages.co.uk, last year’s Championship winners will end the season with just 27 points, and finish bottom of the Premier League table.
Although they currently sit in 18th, the Hammers would be comfortably safe on 37 points, six ahead of the relegation places whilst Bournemouth would be 17th on 34 points.
