Superman & Lois star Elizabeth Tulloch has gone to Twitter to share her behind-the-scenes tribute to Margot Kidder. Tulloch's Lois Lane is the newest in a long line of actors taking on the role in various projects. Before Tulloch began playing Lois in 2018, Amy Adams took on the part in the DC Universe with Henry Cavill's Superman. Meanwhile, Kidder is the legendary actor who played Lois opposite Christopher Reeve in four Superman films between 1978 and 1987.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In a Twitter post, Superman & Lois star Tulloch revealed her tribute to Kidder. The BTS photo shows Tulloch wearing glasses with pronounced black frames, reminiscent of the eyewear worn by Kidder when she played the character. Kidder passed away in 2018, but her portrayal of Lois remains iconic 45 years after her debut. Modern-day superhero properties like Superman & Lois continue to find inspiration from Reeve and Kidder's beloved films.What To Expect in Superman & Lois Season 3 The end of Superman & Lois season 2 saw Tyler Hoechlin's Man of Steel defeat Ally Allstone , better known as Parasite, and establish his new Fortress of Solitude.
The main villain of Superman & Lois season 3 is expected to be Bruno Mannheim, which was teased in the season 2 finale. In the comics, Bruno Mannheim debuted in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #139 all the way back in 1971. He is a member of Intergang, which will also be a factor in Superman & Lois season 3, and is the son of fellow Superman villain and Intergang founder Moxie Mannheim.
As is the nature of Superman & Lois, there will be continued family drama involving young Jordan and Jonathan Kent. Jonathan will search for his purpose in life off the football field while Jordan learns what his abilities mean for his future, and he tries to manage his Kryptonian powers. The family dynamic aims to grow in its intrigue and impact on Smallville and the world where the Kent clan is settled.
