Supermarket remains third cheapest behind Lidl and Aldi as retailers hike price of same budget essential
We're told food price rises are beginning to slow down, but the last week alone has seen the same item increased at three supermarkets.And it comes just a week after the latter two, along with Lidl, hiked the price of bread too.
For the second week running, Tesco , is now third cheapest behind budget retailers Lidl and Aldi - and the only one to keep its cheapest loaf at the lower price of 39p.Just this week we reported how a survey has suggested that soaring food prices may have peaked.
