A "superstar" Asda worker in Wigan has been praised for his heartwarming act of kindness for a pensioner who was "unsteady" during his daily shop.
The pensioner had walked to the store that day from his home three-quarters-of-a-mile away, but Dave didn't want to leave him to walk the whole way home again with his shopping, so offered to give the older man a lift home to make sure he was ok.Speaking afterwards, Dave said: "The gentleman, who is in his 70s, comes in every day and we always have a chat.
