County Boards are starting to move towards more business orientated candidates to run their affairs.

Murphy, who works in business development for Dawn Farm Foods, is also a former senior selector with Kildare under Jack O'Connor. If Murphy wins it will be another sign of County Boards increasingly moving towards professional candidates with a background in business as opposed to long serving officials.
