Thousands of concertgoers will be left stranded next Saturday when industrial action by airline pilots will ground flights

Panicked Taylor Swift fans who fear they’ll miss her Aviva gigs have asked the superstar to intervene in the Aer Lingus strike.

One US fan tagged the singer’s official X account and wrote: “Thousands of your fans flying into Dublin may not make it to your concert due to an Aer Lingus work stoppage. Dublin was the only show my daughters and I could get tix for. And now our weekend with all the magic we planned culminating on your concert may be cancelled for us.

“This will impact 15,000 customers on Aer Lingus short-haul services. Aer Lingus has re-timed long-haul services on both 28 and 29 June in order to avoid cancellation of these services. His goal is to see her in 28 cities before she wraps the European leg of her Eras Tour in London in August. But he is fearful that he might miss her Amsterdam concert due to the pilots’ strike. He told us: “I’d say I’ve spent my life savings on Taylor. I will more than likely spend €22,000 by the time my tour is over.
