The YouTuber has opened up about her mum's drug addiction
In an episode that is yet to air on her YouTube channel, a letter Syd's mum wrote to her daughter is read out.
"To my darling Sydney, Mummy just wanted to write to you to tell you how proud I was of you when I came to see you." In another scene - that's yet to air - Syd's nan explains that at one point social services rang her to explain that Joel would be taken from his mum.This isn't the first time Syd has spoken about her mum's death. In 2019, she raised awareness onShe explained, "My mum was a drug addict on and off for about 20 years and when she had me and my brother, she came off it and tried to come clean.
"My nan's told me about times where my mum came off drugs, she was in rehab and she was so ill. She was anorexic and my nan said it was painful to watch."[taking drugs]"But I do know that her body couldn't handle it and she went into cardiac arrest. She went into hospital and was in a coma for about a week."
