The famous Sylvanian Families shop in Finsbury Park will soon be closing its doors for the last time after three decades.have been left looking to tick a visit to their north London store off their bucket list after it was announced it will be closing in April 2023.However, current owners Taylor and Rose Timbertop are looking to retire and the shop is now up for sale.

A sign outside the shopfront reads: ‘Thank you for being wonderful collectors, enthusiasts, friends and neighbours and for supporting our business over the past 30 years.It was social media star Luke Poulton, aka @veganluke on Instagram, who alerted fans to the news and collectively broke their hearts.

He said: ‘Right now I’m stood in front of the Sylvanian Family shop, which is the only specialist Sylvanian Family shop in Europe.’ Luke then gave viewers a tour around the shop, where he showed off items including giant Sylvanian figures.‘I have some very sad news today though,’ he went on.‘This shop, after 30 years, is closing at the end of April,’ Luke told fans, who made clear their feelings in the comments.‘This is so heartbreaking, it was a dream come true to visit as a child,’ added another.

A third fan commented: ‘Omg you tell me about this absolute delight and then give me whiplash doing an absolute u turn to tell me it’s closing???’
