The importance of gut health is being talked about a lot these days, as doctors, scientists and health experts are encouraging more people to take it seriously.
“According to new research by Activia, three quarters of Irish people admit they need to take better care of their gut health but only 14% are confident that they know how to.Symptoms of bad gut health Dr. Zoe explains there are certain symptoms which are physical indicators of poor gut health, including gas, burping, bloating, abdominal pain, heartburn, diarrhoea, constipation and fatigue.
According to the TV doctor, we should aim to consume 30 different types of plant based foods in our diets each week, which sounds like a lot, but can actually be quite easily achieved.
