Mark Nelson is among the latest executives to leave parent company Salesforce.
. Tableau and Salesforce have not indicated whether successors for either position will be named.
"Helping people see and understand data is a mission that has never been more important than it is today as we all make sense of the complex world we’re living in," Nelson said in his farewell post."I look forward to seeing Tableau and Salesforce continue to come together and produce solutions that are even better than chocolate + peanut butter."
Nelson didn't say whether he had a new job lined up, but said he'd be taking the holidays off and will be embarking on a trip through Patagonia before the"next adventure."
