“With the existing 86,724,967,683 boba shops in Cupertino, I was hoping the line at Wanpo’s newest location wouldn’t be as cray cray.”But that may not be the case for long as boba fans find out that, which opened its first U.S. location at Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, is now steeping at the Main Street Cupertino complex.
The chain was founded by owner Peter Chang nearly 30 years ago as a tribute to the tea culture of his family’s village in Taiwan. Since then, the venture has expanded throughout Asia, to England, to Australia and finally to the United States.All tea leaves are imported from Taiwan. The menu’s divided into pure teas , fruit teas , seasonal teas , milk teas , plus Cheese Oreo and Vanilla Bean Cheese Brulee teas.
