Mason Clarkson Carter, from Gilberdyke, East Yorkshire, passed away after contracting a sickness bug last year.
His aunt described the South Cave Sporting FC player as a "class clown" with a "great sense of humour".: "He had lots of friends and a great sense of humour, but it was always getting him into trouble and in detention."After he fell ill, he was twice taken to hospital before being sent home.
