Tánaiste Simon Harris has called on the National Gallery to answer questions about the purchase of an unused €120,000 scanner.
On their way into Cabinet on Tuesday morning, both Mr Harris and Taoiseach Micheál Martin condemned the news and demanded that the National Gallery answer questions about the spending. "Then it's really important that the people who are paid to run these institutions come out and talk to the Irish people in relation to these issues.
