The Taoiseach is to emphasise his commitment to "strengthening North-South co-operation" as he chairs a meeting with the Northern Ireland Executive on Friday.

Mr Harris said he was delighted to host his first plenary meeting of the North South Ministerial Council as Taoiseach. Mr Martin said: "We have just concluded the institutional meeting of the North South Plenary Council, which is a meeting held annually by the Minister for Foreign Affairs in the Republic and the First Minister and deputy First Minister of the Northern Ireland Executive.
