The Taoiseach is to emphasise his commitment to "strengthening North-South co-operation" as he chairs a meeting with the Northern Ireland Executive on Friday.

Mr Martin said: "We have just concluded the institutional meeting of the North South Plenary Council, which is a meeting held annually by the Minister for Foreign Affairs in the Republic and the First Minister and deputy First Minister of the Northern Ireland Executive.
