Micheál Martin understood to have met Tipperary South TD to ask for his support for the Government
A spokesman for Mr Martin said on Sunday that “there is no truth in those reports” after a Sunday newspaper outlined an approach to Mr McGrath by Fianna Fáil Ministers.
However, it is understood the Taoiseach did meet Mr McGrath and Independent TD for Offaly Carol Nolan to ask them for their support when possible over the course of the Government. Mr McGrath said in his speech that Klaus Schwab, who leads the WEF, had propagated ideas that he felt were the same as the fascism of Benito Mussolini.
