The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said he intends to"make an early visit" to Northern Ireland to meet with the political parties.
"Through no fault of anybody in Dublin, in my view things fell apart, but I think we can put them back together again," he said. Speaking in the Dáil yesterday after he was elected Taoiseach, Mr Varadkar said he would work with Mr Ryan to develop"the capacity of the Department of the Taoiseach on climate action".
Meanwhile, Mr Varadkar said the country faces a very deep housing crisis which is affecting many generations.
