Happy birthday Edna Rose! 🌹
CELEBRATING 100 YEARS: Edna was surrounded by family and friends as she celebrated her 100th birthday at Newgrange Care HomeNewgrange Care Home in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire celebrated as resident, Edna Rose enjoyed her 100th birthday on Friday, July 8.
Newgrange arranged for the closest they could get to Edna's favourite singer to make an apperance by way of an Elvis tribute artist who had residents and team members up singing and dancing while he entertained everyone. The home continued to celebrate with high tea, which was laid on by their catering and actitivity team, residents shared a long table, so that everyone could sit and celebrating together.
Born in her family home in Sweet Briar Green, Edmonton and remaining their until she was 14, Edna then moved to St Edmonds Road, where she attended Higher Grade Edmonton School, Edna remained at that address until she was 30.
