"I do believe we are coming close to a point where we are going to be able to make a decision on what is the value maximising route for shareholders and I would like to see that announced before the end of this year," Reuters reported Teck CEO Jonathan Price as saying at the FT Mining Summit in London on 5 October. .
Price reportedly told those at the conference that the diplomatic row is not slowing the sale process of Teck's business but did not detail the specifics of a potential deal. "I would say on Canada and India, separately from the sale process, we want to see a continuation of trade between," he reportedly said.
