A 15-year-old has been charged over the stabbing of a teacher at Tewkesbury Academy in Gloucestershire.
A police statement on Tuesday said: “Officers were called about the incident by the ambulance service at around 9.10am yesterday . The school was locked down while officers carried out searches for the suspect. He was arrested in the Stoke Orchard area at around 11am. Mr Sansom said: “On police advice, I can’t comment in detail about what happened, but I want to address some misinformation which has been circulating in coverage of yesterday’s incident.
