Teenager and woman arrested after €320,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis seized in Limerick

An 18-year-old man and a woman were arrested following a €320,000 drugs seizure in Limerick city on Friday.The teenager and the woman, 47, were arrested after the raids in the Moyross, Castletroy and Coonagh Lower areas.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí from the Limerick Divisional Drug Unit, Mayorstone Crime Unit and the Garda Armed Support Unit have seized drugs with an estimated street value of €320,000. "A male and a female were arrested in connection with this investigation are currently detained at Henry Street Garda Station, Limerick under the provisions of Section 2 –Criminal Justice Act 1996."
