A man in his late teens who was arrested on Saturday as part of an investigation into the attack is due in court on Monday
A teen arrested in connection with a suspected petrol bomb attack at a property earmarked for refugees in Dublin has been charged.
The shocking attack occurred at St John’s House in Tallaght Village, a site due to be used to house families seeking asylum, at around 11pm on Tuesday, May 21. The vacant building, located on the High Street in Tallaght, South Co Dublin, was set alight by a suspected petrol bomb. Two men were arrested less than 24 hours after the horrific incident after breaking into the property just before midnight on Wednesday and have since appeared before court.
On Saturday, Gardaí in Tallaght who are investigating the incident of criminal damage arrested a man in his late teens. The man was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda station in Dublin and has since been charged in relation to the incident.
