A teen died early Sunday when he was struck during a race on a west Birmingham road.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the male teen was a pedestrian struck by one of two vehicles that were racing on Bessemer Road. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene at 12:30 a.m.Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said they have not yet been able to identify the victim.
