A TEENAGE thug brutally stabbed two men outside a nightclub after hiding a knife nearby.
Liam Sullivan did not know his victims until an incident saw him kicked out of Sanctuary in Glasgow's Partick in the early hours of New Year's Day 2023.A judge heard how Mr Gray would have died, but for emergency medical help.
Sullivan on Thursday admitted assaulting both men to their severe injury and permanent disfigurement. Prosecutors stated it was also to the danger of Mr Gray's life.Prosecutor James Irvine told the High Court in Glasgow how Sullivan had been clocked hiding an"item" in a nearby street before going into the club with a friend.Mr Irvine:"They were not known to Sullivan and had not been in his company.
As Sullivan ran off, Mr White was helped by staff back into the club, but Mr Gray collapsed in the street.Mr Gray's injuries included a collapsed lung. Medics had initial serious fears about his condition, but he was helped by having emergency surgery.Mr White meantime needed 10 stitches for a knife wound.Graeme Brown, defending, said:"He was 17 at the time, but is now 18.
