Teenage girl killed and two teenage boys injured, one critically, in single car collision in Co Cork last night
The girl died after the car she was travelling in hit a wall on Harbour View Road at Knocknaheeny at around 11.45pm last night.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out. The driver and second passenger in the car were taken to CUH, where the passenger's condition is believed to be critical.The road has been closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses, particularly any motorists who were travelling on Harbour View Road between 11pm and 12.30am and who may have dashcam footage, to contact Gurranabraher Garda Station on 021 494 6200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
