Tributes have poured in for a teenager who tragically died following a shark attack on a Queensland beach.
Emergency crews rushed to the beach just before 5pm local time, 6am Irish time, on Monday following reports of a “serious shark bite incident”, Queensland Ambulance said.Charlize’s last social media post tragically showed her at the popular beach with her surf board, while another photo showed her enjoying the ocean, with the simple caption: “Bribie ‘25.”
Another added: “I’m so lucky to have known you, rest in peace gorgeous girl.” Another said: “May you rest in peace. My heart is just broken for you and your family.” Another beachgoer told reporters: “She had her whole life ahead of her, she was a singer, she was a lifesaver, she was a very smart girl and it's just devastating it happened to someone so young.”
