A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man in Aberdeenshire.
Michael Jenkins, 24, was pronounced dead in Fraserburgh's Watermill Road after police were alerted to a disturbance at around 6pm on Sunday. Alfie Whelan, 19, from Sutton, appeared before Peterhead Sheriff Court on Wednesday accused of his murder.Whelan was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.In a statement released through the force, Mr Jenkins' brother said he would be"missed by so many".
