It looks like Ireland is in for a frosty week ahead, as temperatures are set to plummet amid severe weather warnings from Met Eireann.

Thanks to the windchill factor, it’s expected that temperatures will feel a lot lower next week, dropping as low as -8 in some parts of the country.Met Eierann have said the week ahead is expected to be “very cold” with frost and ice until at least Thursday and even the possibility of snow. But temperatures are set to drop from nightfall on Monday, with Met Eireann forecasting the following for tomorrow night :“Very cold with lowest temperatures of 0 and -4 degrees leading to widespread sharp frost and possible icy stretches.
