Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen has shed light on how Sir Alex Ferguson wanted his teams to play and it appears Erik ten Hag showed those principles against Liverpool on Sunday.
Coincidentally in a piece for Coaches' Voices, Meulensteen recently highlighted the golden rules which Ferguson swore by and they are similar to how United approached the game against their bitter rivals on Sunday.
