The England international reached a genuine world-class peak during the previous campaign, proving to be the catalyst for a side that lacked any other standout player in attack. This season, he has been just as present in the United side but has just one goal to show for it. "I know when the team is playing better, he will play better, score goals, I am confident on that. Also this season, he will improve, he will score goals, he is totally in the team, he is totally aware of everything.While it can be argued that the manager's backing is what Rashford needs to eventually come good, there is also an element of hypocrisy given that few other players have been shown such faith when they have underperformed.
