A trapped resident was forced to leap from a window after a horror blaze broke out in a Glasgow flat.
Pictures taken from the scene showed smoke billowing out of a ground-floor flat while fire crews battled the blaze. One terrified resident, who lives in the building, told Glasgow Live how she was trapped in her home during the incident. The woman, who has not been named, said: "At 3.30am we were woken up by a neighbour who told us there was a fire and to leave. We got dressed in five minutes by which time the smoke had filled the close and we couldn’t leave.
