With the Easter school holidays just around the corner, Tesco has launched a half-price toy sale exclusively for Clubcard holders. The sale starts today, Monday, March 18, and among the offers will be some of the most popular toy brands such as Barbie, Disney, Fisher Price, Paw Patrol, Hot Wheels and Playdoh.. Demand for toys at Tesco increases over the Easter holidays by up to 40 per cent, as parents look to keep their kids entertained during the two-week break.
Tesco Category Manager for Toys, Nursery and Sport, Anne Borrett said: “Whatever the weather, rain or shine, we’ve got toys for all eventualities to keep the kids amused indoors or outside in the garden. “If it’s sunny and the kids are going to be in the garden we have a scooter in the sale as well as a watergun set, a sand and water play table as well as other toys made for outdoor play.
“But if it’s rainy or cooler then there are plenty of action figures and games to play with indoors, such as a Playdoh cannister, secret message bracelet-making set and colouring sets.
