Even though the weather feels more winter than summer these days, for some of our leading supermarkets thoughts have already turned to Christmas.

The supermarket chain is selling 600g tubs of Celebrations and Quality Street and 550g Cadbury Heroes and Roses tubs on special offer for just £4. But with it only being a few days into August, Tesco has once again left shoppers baffled and sparked debate online after stores across Northern Ireland started selling 'Christmas' chocolate.

He tweeted: "C’mon @Tesco - it may feel like October today, but putting Christmas tubs of sweets on sale on 27 July, and right in the eyeline of every kid on school holidays?!!
